Bruno Allahissem

ALLAHISSEM Bruno is an anthropologist specializing in social and security dynamics in Central and Sahelian Africa. With more than twelve years of experience in applied research, project evaluation and consultancy, he is a PhD student at Leiden University, where he studies Fulani pastoralism and conflicts in the Sahel, analysing the links between mobility, social networks and identities in a context of insecurity. It adopts an interdisciplinary approach combining anthropology, rural development and public policy analysis. Associate researcher at the Centre for Research in Anthropology and Human Sciences (CRASH), he has coordinated several studies on social cohesion, radicalisation, media governance and security dynamics. His work focuses on natural resource conflicts, pastoralist-farmer relations, community resilience and local governance. A polyglot, he combines scientific expertise, the field and a commitment to peace and sustainable development.
